Eagle Tool & Machine and Tracer Pursue Big Air Force Landing Gear Spare Parts Contract

Springfield, OH. June 21, 2006—Eagle Tool & Machine Co and Tracer Corporation are aiming to help streamline landing gear parts procurement for the US Air Force. The Landing Gear Prime Vendor Contract (LGPVC) spearheaded by the Landing Gear Commodity Council of the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, is an aggressive initiative that will reduce competitive landing gear parts procurement costs and increase US warfighters’ readiness. 

The Eagle Tracer partnership represents a unique combination of landing gear experience, effective quality control systems and supplier management capabilities. In pursuing a prime vendor contract, Eagle Tracer is working with landing gear manufacturers to provide the USAF and DLA the right part at the right place at the right time.
